Selection of the solenoid valve principle

to long of push rods or not?

if you put to long of pushrods in a motor will the valves hit the piston
i have after market heads and cam

the pushrods are 100 thous. over stock

push rod length will not effect the valve lift. the only things that will effect that are cam profile and rocker arm ratio. the trick is to not over-tighten the rockers!
