It feels like a car door hinge, smooth functionality with a purpose. The logo is very bold, as when you open the hood of the car and you see the name cast in the engine. It's meant to have that feeling. And inside each letter, there's a chiseled treatment. People who know and appreciate cars will pick up on all the details. The chrome appointments at top and bottom are meant to resemble the facets of wheel lug nuts, while the center ring has a strong mechanical appearance."

The C-Series is available as a fountain pen or as a capless Selectip rolling ball pen that opens with a twist mechanism and has a jumbo ballpoint option, a first for the company.

As Kingsley, the designer of the Cross C-Series indicated: "I've always been passionate about the details that go into a car, and I wanted to make sure I carried over the same feeling when I'm in a really beautiful car. I want someone to feel the same way when they're using this pen."
