Not only are belly button rings becoming more popular, but they're becoming more creative as well. Gone are the days where all you could find was the standard, traditional non-dangling banana barbell with two acrylic balls. No more!
Navel rings are available with a variety of barbells and decorations. The most common, and least expensive, are still the non-dangling, but that doesn't mean they're boring. You can purchase ones with a variety of gems and jewels, colors and shapes, and even licensed logos and brands like professional sports teams and Playboy.
The dangling belly rings are becoming more creative, too. They're not just a little jewel hanging two links down from the barbell anymore. You can get dangling chains, gems, jewels, metal shapes and more. You can find rings that include a long chain that wraps around your waste or even connects to other piercings. The dangling portion can be less than a quarter of an inch long all the way up to one and a half inches long or more.
If you want to upgrade from the traditional non-dangling barbell, but aren't interested in the long dangles, there are still options available to meet your needs. Recently, the "reverse belly button ring" has become an astonishingly popular style. This style of navel ring enters the belly button in the same way, but instead of a decorative piece hanging down from the bottom part of the barbell, it extends from the top. It will typically be stationary, rather than free-moving, but this is a creative way to expand your navel ring style.
Another way to express your artistic style is to wear a "spiral belly button ring." These belly rings are non-dangling as well, but provide a clever way to add flair: they twist! The design features a 14 GA or 16 GA barbell that spirals, rather than curves. It appears to be like a section of a spring, but it doesn't expand and contract. They usually have two balls on the end in decorative colors and sometimes the entire ring is made from titanium, which comes in a variety of colors.
In an effort to meet the needs of every navel ring wearer, manufacturers have even begun making specially designed "pregnancy belly button rings." These rings are made from a plastic, or BioFlex, material rather than the standard metal barbell. Often, they are made in extra long lengths that can be cut to the desired size once a customer purchases it. Pregnancy belly rings feature two titanium or acrylic balls that screw on to the self-threading plastic barbell, which allows the wearer to determine and change the length. These specially created navel rings are perfect for expectant mothers because they act as an attractive retainer for the piercing hole, but won't stretch, tear or irritate the navel the way metal ones can.
Don't get trapped by the notion that you have only two choices of belly button rings (non-dangling and dangling). For every style of navel ring wearer, there is a style of a navel ring. You can choose from spiral, reverse, dangling and even pregnancy body jewelry to meet your creative and ever-changing needs.

What other mods should I do when installing Skunk2 Stage 2 Cam Set up?
Hello to my fellow Civic Drivers. As much as i know most of you would opt for a K20A2 or K20A, I plan on sticking with my K20A3. I fully understand the whole vtec on one cam thing and what not. My question is, I plan on putting a Skunk2 Stage 2 set up on my car. I know i need the Stage 2 cams, titanium retainers, springs, high compression valves, valve stems, and guides. What else do I need to make sure this set up runs efficient? What do you guys recommend to make this Stage 2 set up more durable, strong, and last? I will be running the motor N/A. What else should I upgrade on the Motor and Motor Only? .......Oh yea, its the 02 EP3 Civic Si HB.
a tune since your changing your timing/etc. you dont necessarily have to upgrade your valvetrain if you're upgrading your cam shafts. you can and you will get better results, but honda makes pretty good valvetrains.
you should also get adjustable cam gears.
if you're looking for other things to increase performance then:
CAI
4-1 or 4-2-1 headers depending on your driving style and what your'e using the car for
exhaust (k series do well with larger exhausts even without other mods)
you can swing for a port and polish if you feel like spending the cash
lightweight pulleys
high compression pistons
might need to upgrade your injectors/fuel pump depending what your HP goal is
