Bajaj has done away with the centre panel and placed the two front seats touching each other. The gear shaft has been mounted on the dashboard. This Bajaj maidan small car going to explore the Indian Cars market in the mid of 2010.

Help! 92 FORD TAURUS COLUMN REPAIR?

There is a 92' Ford Taurus that i am working on. The ignition lock cylinder moves from the off to the start postion effortlessly and is not moving the igniton switch to start the car. I believe the problem is a broken steering column rack, which engages the ignition switch via a small rod like shaft controlled by the ignition lock cylinder postion. do anyone know anything about this and instructions on replacing the rack. I've searched all over and cannot find instructions, even from dealer technicians.

I believe there is a thin rod which runs through the column from the ign switch mechanical (key part) to the ign switch electrical part. it would be easier to examine the electrical end first
to see if the rod is still attached to THAT end
