Ah, short-lived TV shows: you gotta love 'em. There is nothing quite like shows that are so bad they live in infamy. From shows that are on the air for just one episode, to those that stay for a few weeks, short-lived TV shows are really quite easy to miss: if you blink, you'll do just that. The following are some of the shortest-lived TV shows of all time: they are gone because they're rotten.
Cop Rock: A show that coupled a police drama with a Broadway-like musical wasn't successful: that's madness! Cop Rock, which aired on ABC, was the brain child (or perhaps brain fart) of Steven Bochco, the man behind several successful series. With a premise that featured cops going where no one in law enforcement should ever go - into a song and dance number - it was like Hill Street Blues, singing the Blues. Originally airing on September 26, 1990, Cop Rock was pulled off the air three months later on December 26, making its cancellation a late Christmas present for the viewing public.
Pink Lady: Sometimes known as Pink Lady and Jeff, Pink Lady was a television series that ran on NBC for six short weeks, six short weeks that felt very long. It first appeared in March 1980 showcasing Jeff Altman as a comedian and Pink Lady, a duo made up of female Japanese singers. A sketch comedy with music throw in, Pink Lady is thought to be one of the worst TV shows to ever hit the small screen. Jim Varney, however, was a cast member and, as most people will agree, any show with an appearance by Ernest P. Worrell can't be that bad.
The Chevy Chase Show: I personally love Chevy Chase (psst....Chevy, if you read this, call me), but The Chevy Chase Show was always a disaster waiting to happen. Placing Chevy in a role where he was required to host a talk show with the occasional seriousness of a news anchor was just never a good idea: it's like asking Dan Rather to be funny. The executives at FOX seemed to agree with this assertion: The Chevy Chase Show was on the air for less than a month.
Who's Your Daddy?: When I first saw a preview for this reality series I thought it was a joke: creating a reality series that set up Southern relatives for romantic encounters would have been less horrible. But, alas, Who's Your Daddy? was a real show, at least temporarily. Featuring a contestant who had been given up for adoption as an infant, the point of the show was for the contestant to correctly identify, from a group of men, her biological father. Parodied by talk shows, and criticized by adoption agencies, Who's Your Daddy? was pulled off the air after one episode, making it the father of all busts.
Manimal: In fall of 1983, a series began about a man who could shape shift and turn himself into any kind of animal. Yes, I know what you're thinking: Emmy Worthy. Airing on NBC for less than three months, Manimal was filled with special effects that were anything but: the same backdrop appeared in several different scenes. Luckily for those with a televisions, Manimal quickly shape shifted into a cancellation.

Eclipse and Supra - world stars
For those who love cars, customizing and racing are a way of life. Some dedicated performance enthusiasts, however, are putting their cars, their buddies and their lives on the line by street racing. This sport is a type of racing that has drawn national attention due to the movies "The Fast and the Furious" and "2 Fast 2 Furious". It is not a new thing. Over the years, speeds have increased and with the advent of cell phones and GPS systems, so has the technology that's why the trend continues to grow. Movies like The Fast and The Furious have helped to spread the virtues of street racing where we can see the guys who have a passion for cars. It's not a bad thing. It's rather an exciting sport that requires training, discipline and skill. When Universal Pictures launched The Fast and the Furious into the 2001 summer movie season, most of the viewers said: now we have two new stars: Mitsubishi's Lancer Evolution VII and Eclipse Spyder, the 'hero cars' of the film. The street racing was getting a lot of press attention, the popularity of the modified import cars was exploding, and that was amazing. Mitsubishi's starring role in 2 Fast 2 Furious was seen in the industry as marketing genius because created a renewed interest in the Eclipse as a tuner model. The same situation was in Toyota's industry, when in the Spring of 2000, Toyota Supra was spotted by recruiters for Universal Pictures and was selected to be the primary car for the upcoming blockbuster. They rented the car and began to alter its appearance for an even more aggressive look. Lamborghini orange paint was applied (the only car in the movie to receive an actual high-quality paint job), as was a new Bomex body kit. New 19" wheels were added, as well as a new rear wing, a new TRD hood and some one-off Troy Lee graphics. The studio then set out to build 5 cosmetic replicas, shown in various stages of completion, all designed to replicate this original.
Director Rob Cohen wanted to make a movie with lots of souped up cars going really fast, and in those terms, he succeeded. Races at night, races during the day, races in the city, the desert, and abandoned business districts in Los Angeles. Eclipses, Supras, Civics, Maximas, and all other sorts of tricked out import cars fly across the screen.
After the movie the show was just begin. Anyone who has seen the movie wanted to change his car or buy the new one - Mitsubishi Eclipse. The street racing getting popularity. Eclipses and Supras become the most popular cars in the world and young toughs no longer shouted "My Chevy can beat your Ford." Allegiance and passion had moved to Mitsubishi, Toyo and Honda. The Lifestyle of the Fast and the Furious was a world of attitude fueled by nitrous tanks and hot passion for the high-octane excitement of street racing.

Replacing 2004 chevy factory radio with new touch screen?
I have look at alot of touchscreens and finally decided on a Pioneer AVH-P3100 from Amazon. I added a PAC SWI-PS Sony and Pioneer Steering Wheel Radio Control Interface to keep my factory steering wheel controls. I added the Bluetooth adapter, a GM Factory System Integration Adapter Aftermarket Receiver Interface Kit For GM Vehicles with OnStarĀ® and BoseĀ® systems. and i bought a antenna adapter.
Do I need anything else to wire up this new radio in my truck? Or is all I should need?
U got it all man now just how to get over the ebrake to watch movies without it on use a toggle switch like the old chorme ones then neg it thru it then when u do th toggle it neg the brain so u can watch a movie while drivin good luck ombus
Roberts makes late surge to win Chevy Chase
WITH plenty of warm, sunny weather leading up to the event this year and unbelievably dry conditions underfoot, fast times were predicted. As competitors arrived to register it was already very warm with clear skies. Visibility was good, but there was quite a brisk wind which cooled competitors down, but also hindered progress in the first half of the race. (07/07/2010 10:06:31)
