Could this engine work for my 1966 Lincoln Continental?
This guy has a Ford 460 Long block and would like to sell me his engines. Would it fit my 66 Continental which has a 462ci V8 engine in it? Its too early to ask my mechanic so hopefully I can run accross one here.
Let me know if it can. Here's the specs

Your 462 is a MEL engine and the 460 is a 385 series, so I don't think it will bolt in unless you use the C6 tranny that went to the 460 and make motor mounts and drive-shaft and some other fab work : (
