HELP: DO or DO NOT put RTV silicone on the NEW FELPRO intake manifold gaskets?

Hi...

I have a 1993 nissan quest with 90K miles...there is a very bad vacuum leak...irradic idle after acceleration...and very poor acceleration and lack of power...since its sucking air from where it shouldnt be sucking air...so the air-fuel mixture isnt the correct one.

the leak is very visible.

Should I put RTV on the gaskets?

OR just make sure the surfaces are SUPER CLEAN? (clean it with brake cleaner or thinner) and tighten to specs? the lower intake gaskets comes with some sort of red rubber (or maybe its RTV) around each intake and water port...but the upper manifold doesnt...

Some people say PUT RTV on the gaskets....and some say DO NOT PUT RTV...
