How do I sell / get maximum money for my low milage crashed car?

I rear ended someone a month ago in my 1996 Pontiac Grand Am SE. The car has 40,000 miles on it (i purchased it from a retired woman who used it to drive to her job at the bank, and to the grocery store about once a week each for 10 years)

I am told the car has 2600 dollars worth of damage, but I think this may be an over estimate of at the very least a couple hundred dollars.

The car needs mostly everything up front right: hood, rt light, rt fender, bumper cover, tie bar, impact bar & radiator support. The car looks a little pushed in. The left parts are still perfect, as well as everything including and beyond the radiator itself.

I cant afford to fix it, I've got a beater i can drive

Keep the car, if you like it. Fix it yourself, Look on e-bay or local junk yard for parts. Buy them as you can afford to. After you replace the parts, get the $400.00 paint job.
The resale value is lower than what the car is actually worth. A good dependable car is worth keeping. By looking around you may be able to fix it for well under $1000,00.
