How do I know what carburetor is compatible with my 76 plymouth volare?

I have a Plymouth Volare with a 225 slant six 3.7L engine. It currently has the stock Holley single barrel carburetor on it. I want to replace this one with atleast a 2 barrel carburetor. How do I know what carburetors are compatible with mine? Are there conversion kits to fit them? I can follow instructions well, so just let me know a model type or something along those lines please

Wow thats a workhorse of an engine. I had a 77 Volare way back when. You can search for a 1 to 2 barrel adapter on the net they are kinda hard to find and put a weber or Holley 2 barrel on it. If you are looking to make the car go fast and thats the only reason you are wanting to go to a 2 barrel it isn't worth the expense. If you are heart set on a fast Volare and keeping the 225 the best additions you can make are a custom ground cam. call local cam shops and talk to them about custom grinding a cam most of the old timers remember roundy round cams ( round 1/8 mile dirt tracks 225's tore them up ).. However a 318 and a 360 will sit in a Volare right nicely without cutting the firewall and fender wells all to heck and give you as much HP as your are willing to spend $$$ to get.
