Shopping for Hyundai cars is not significantly different that shopping for any other type of automobile. A little common sense will go a long way in making sure that you get the best car for your buck and for your lifestyle. Below are a few tips to help make your shopping experience a smooth ride.
Hyundai Cars Shopping Tip # 1
First and foremost, consider your budget and how much you can comfortably spend on your new car. Whether you are paying cash or plan on having your new car financed, affordability will have a large impact on which car you ultimately choose. Plan out a realistic budget and stick to it.
Hyundai Cars Shopping Tip # 2
Consider how the car will be used. Are you single or married? Do you have children? Do you travel a lot and, if so, is storage or transportation a major issue? The answers to each of these questions will help you to choose a car that is the right size for your needs. If you are single and plan to use your new car for work, a compact design may be ideal. Less fuel consumption and more wiggle room in parking spaces may be an attractive benefit. If you have a family or do a lot of traveling, whether for business or pleasure, a roomier car may be the better option to ensure that everyone has plenty of space and is comfortable.
Hyundai Cars Shopping Tip # 3
Take the time to speak with your auto insurance agent about the cost of insurance. A sporty car will be higher priced, in both the sale price and insurance, than a family car. The theory is that a sporty car is purchased for the purpose of being driven fast, which is why insurance may be higher. A family car, however, is thought to be used for the family and may not be such a high risk, as far as insurance agents are concerned.
Hyundai Cars Shopping Tip # 4
It's all about the features and what you want to get out of your car. If you want all of the bells and whistles, you will be paying for them. Optional features on a car will be more expensive than a basic model, which is for the more conservative car owner.
Hyundai Cars Shopping Tip # 5
When shopping for any automobile, including Hyundai cars, it is best to shop with a dealership that is willing to work with you in getting the best deal possible. If you happen to come in contact with a salesperson that simply will not budge on the price, don't be afraid to walk away. The sticker price is just a bargaining price and is not the lowest price for most reasonable dealerships. As with any number, there is always a little wiggle room. If the salesperson won't wiggle, then you walk away.
As a final thought to shopping for Hyundai cars, consider the warranty coverage. If you are purchasing a new automobile, you will receive a manufacturer's warranty included in the price. If you are purchasing a used car, ask the dealer about an extended warranty and whether or not one is available with your choice of Hyundai cars.

Affordable Four Wheel Drive of Hyundai
Hyundai Tucson
The Hyundai Tucson is capable of driving on and off paved or gravel surface. A brand new Hyundai Tucson is priced at around $30,000 for the standard 2.7 litre V6 five door wagon. If, however, you are still willing to spend more, then the Tucson Elite S which costs $33,000 might be of interest to you.
Hyundai Tucson, needless to say, has good air conditioning, automatic transmission, driver and passenger airbags as well as anti-lock brakes all as standard equipment. One drawback of Tucson though is that it lacks real ground balance which somehow compromises its off-road capabilities. Nonetheless, Hyundai Tucson is definitely a good buy.
If you are on a tight budget and would want to buy a Hyundai Tucson, you may want to consider a used Hyundai Tucson. However, in purchasing a used Hyundai Tucson, make sure that check for any off-road damage in the body and try to get a Tucson that has done little or no-off roading at all. In addition to that, you may also want a qualified Hyundai mechanic to inspect the used Tucson you are going to purchase.
Hyundai Santa Fe
Hyundai Santa Fe has marked the success of Hyundai in Australia. Rather than a four wheel drive, the Santa Fe is considered to be more of a soft-roader. Santa Fe is perfect for those who are looking to have some fun in the weekends. Santa Fe is a vehicle that looks really great and has more or less similar features as the Tucson. A brand new Hyundai Santa Fe will cost you $34,000. But if you are pretty tight on your budget, then a cheaper used Hyundai Santa Fe will do.
Hyundai Terracan
Built for more serious off-roading, the Hyundai Terracan is Hyundai's biggest and most powerful SUV yet. Rugged and refined, Terracan comes with a well-equipped interior that gives you the length, width, and height that you need for uncompromising comfort and cargo hauling capability. Brand new Terracan starts at $35,000. You can always get a used Terracan if you want to save some money.

need help with financing?
ok i just bought a 2003 Hyundai Elantra GLS for $5995. i pay 288 a month for 22 more months i still owe $5500 and the trade in value is $4000. i want to get the 2003 Hyundai tiburon which i found online for $6990,
if i trade in my vehicle to get the Tiburon, will it be like this: $6990 Minus $4000 trade from Elantra= $2990 for the Tiburon, PLUS the 5500 i still owe on the loan for the Elantra, so that comes up to about 8500 for the Tiburon. am i correct?
and i am 18 if that helps
Yes, you are correct. If you've been able to build up any credit, you might be able to get the dealer to roll the remainder of your previous loan into the loan for the second car.
Hyundai: The Next Two Years
Over the past two decades Hyundai has moved from being a manufacturer of budget cars with average quality to become a serious player in the auto industry with world class cars that equal or better more established brands in reliability, performance and price. Yes, Hyundai is definitely the brand almost every other automaker wants to be and with...
