Cricket bat Knock In
Cricket bat knock in is the process of hardening and conditioning of the blades surface. The main of purpose of knocking in process is to protect the bat from any type of cracking and also helps in increasing the life of the bat by the use of mechanical press. The last step is general in which adhesive facing is done, after the completion of the process of protective facing. So, it is important to give bat another light oil treatment at least two times in a week.
The knock in process usually takes 4 to 6 hours. Everyone who is using the bat should follow the process properly of knocking- in that makes the bat evergreen always and harder also.

VW Golf 1997 engine problem- water got inside?
Please help, there is strange build-up on the engine cap and compartment walls. My dad thinks water got into the engine somehow and that it might have to be changed. He also thinks there is water in the oil. It's Sunday, though, and everything is closed so I don't know what to do with the car. Can I drive it at all? What do you think has to be done? I'll take any answers. Picture links are below, let me know if you need more pictures to determine the problem. Thanks in advance.

It defiantly looks like you have water in your oil. Generally when this happens its because of a crack in your engine block allowing radiator fluid to seep into the crank case. First thing i would do is check your radiator fluid level. If its low this is probably the case. If its still full its possible the water came from some other outside source through a breather or relief valve that isn't covered or working properly.
When oil and water mix it creates a white jell like substance much like what i saw in the picture. The problem here is that it loses its viscosity and won't flow through the engine properly causing inproper lubrication and most likely causing your engine to overheat.
I personally wouldn't suggest driving it unless its an emergency and get it to a mechanic as soon as possible so that they can trouble shoot the problem and find the cause. You may want to actually have it towed to prevent any further damage.
