Want to know how to do your own Men's Hair Removal? When it comes to Men's Hair Removal then waxing for men is a great way to get rid of hair on large body areas. If you want to save the time and expense of going to a waxing salon, then you can always try a bit of self waxing. So what are the basic Key requirements when it comes to waxing for men and what do hair removal experts recommend to make the process as smooth and as pain free as possible.
Here is my essential waxing for men toolkit:
Get You Self Some Pre wax lotion
It is really important to find yourself a quality pre-waxing lotion. What you need to do is eradicate any sweat, oil or bacteria, and clean the back ready for the hair removal process. This is true for all parts of your body you are looking to wax.
Waxing Applicators
The wax is mixed and and spread on the body targeted for waxing in a range of ways. Some use wooden spatulas that look like giant ice lolly sticks while other people may use plastic rods. You need to find something that will give an even spread, like a plaster would want when doing the walls. The wax needs to be consistent so choose something that spreads smoothly and does not scrape the body.
Gloves
Latex or vinyl gloves are essential as you are working with hot wax. Also, you need to respect the need for being hygienic, depending on the part of the body you are waxing, especially if a partner is doing it for you. Select a glove that does not restrict your movement or grip, as you need to be able to hold the spatula and spread the wax with ease. We're not talking giant oven gloves, put it that way.
Strips
Waxing strips can come in different forms, from paper to fabric. Fabric ones can be washed and reused, while paper ones can be thrown away. The strip is placed over the wax, pushed down onto the body area covered in wax, allowed to cool for a few moments and set, then "ripped" off. That is why you need strips that are tough, and will not tear. Some professionals work very fast, so a tough strip is essential as they strip and press, strip and press very quickly.
Heater for Wax
What ever part of the body is going to undergo waxing, you will need a Wax Heater for the wax. There are a range of heaters available (link) but I would recommend one that is easy to use, heats up the wax quickly and, most importantly, is easy to keep clean and maintain. Waxing can be messy.
Wax
Wax for men's hair removal comes in so many different varieties, including chocolate (anyone?). My local salon specialised in some high quality wax, and the higher the price, the less the pain (odd that!). Men's Hair Removal is slightly different than women, in that men's hair tends to be more course and thicker. i.e. will need a tougher wax. As with all beauty products, there are lots of specially formulated wax aimed specifically at men's waxing.
After wax lotion
OK, OK, the pain is over. Honestly. So now you need a nice soothing After Wax Lotion. Do not just consider this as an added luxury. It is an essential part of the men's waxing tool kit. It will help sooth, and relax skin which may be feeling a little bit raw at the moment. At the same time it will moisturise the back, and help the back feel smooth and protecting the skin.
Tweezers
Wax is good, but there will always be the odd rogue hair that has some how evaded the waxing process. Enter stage right the precision tweezers. So where on the body the waxing has taken place (even the balls!!) get your self a good quality pair of tweezers and remove those last stubborn little hairs. The better quality the tweezers the more easy the hair will be removed.
Now all you need to do is start the process of men's hair removal.

Why Do I Need A Fireplace Tool Set?
Down through the ages, fireplaces have been a place where people have gathered to enjoy food, social events, romantic evenings, and many other experiences. Fireplaces have been a part of humanity since the beginning of time, but their role and function in the lives of most people have changed dramatically. In most modern homes, the fireplace is a decorative item rather than a necessity. So why would a purely decorative fireplace need a set of fireplace tools? Here are some very good reasons.
1.Maintenance
Although many fireplaces today do not have an essential function in the home, they still need to be properly maintained. A fireplace that is not properly maintained can be a serious fire hazard. Fireplace tools are specifically designed to make this vital maintenance easier for the homeowner.
For instance, as opposed to an ordinary household broom, the shorter fireplace broom is made with bristles that can withstand higher temperatures. The fact that it is shorter is also a plus, because it makes sweeping the ashes and debris from the firebox a little easier to handle. A fireplace broom will usually have a coordinating shovel. This shovel is usually sized to match the broom, which enables the owner to easily remove bits of ash from the firebox and place them in an ash holder.
A fireplace poker is used to shift the burning logs into a better position so that the fire maintains its proper height. This shifting also allows airflow, which will ensure a better-burning fire. Pokers are also made of materials, such as wrought iron, that are resistant to damage in high temperatures. A word of caution here: the poker may become extremely hot. This is where the fireplace tool rack comes in very handy. Laying your hot poker on the hearth or floor near the firebox can result in damage to whatever surface it touches. However, if the rack is used, there is no need for concern.
Some fireplace tool sets come with scissor tongs. These can be used to shift bigger pieces of wood that are partially burned, as well as to add new logs to the fire. They are a very useful tool and should not be neglected in the purchase of a tool set.
2.Beauty
Some fireplaces do not need the kind of maintenance mentioned above, i.e. electric fireplaces and gas fireplaces. These types of fireplaces do not require ash removal or log shifting, yet the added beauty of a fireplace tool set can greatly enhance the look of the fireplaces. If the illusion of a wood burning fireplace is what is desired, then this tool set becomes an essential accessory.
Fireplace tool sets come in many different styles to coordinate with any home decor. If the classic look is wanted, polished brass would be a good choice. If the home has more of a country feel, wrought iron may be the way to go. Stainless steel or pewter would be good choices for the home that is contemporary in style. A combination of these materials can add interest and texture in an infinite number of ways. It is up to the homeowner to experiment and have fun deciding what works best for them.
So the question is, Why do I need a fireplace tool set? The answer: It is a beautiful addition to any fireplace that can add simplicity to daily maintenance needs. Even though fireplaces have become less functional and more aesthetic, this by no means lessens the value of having a great looking fireplace tool set to adorn the centerpiece of the home.

What is a Car Mechanic's most useful/important tool?
I'm buying my boyfriend a birthday present he says he needs a set that is about $100. I can't afford all that. I would like to give him the most important ones if possible. What would be the essentials or the single most important tool?
Please tell me how the tools you've suggested are used; what can you do with them?
Are you Male or female? How old are you?
Thanks!
He has lost every tool he had before. So, he's starting over.
In answer to your question his most important tools are his brain and his hands. But he already has those I hope. The tool I use most would probably be a hammer. As you will find out a good quality tool is very expensive. So if he wants to be a pro mechanic buy him the best Snap-On, Mac, Matco. If it is just a hobby go to Sears and buy him something from Craftsman.
