Critical Illness Cover - for the Better or for the Worse?
As one grows older, the risk of antiselection grows accordingly. Therefore, this risk may not be completely eliminated even if alternate measures are used at the moment of underwriting. The age at entry for a critical illness cover may range between 55 to 65. Thus, a suitable late age to take out critical illness cover may be 55 years. The fact remains that a critical illness cover may terminate at the age of 65. Therefore, the insured person, having already reached retirement age may not fear a loss of income should a critical illness occur.
Moreover, at an older age money consuming factors such as long term care costs may crop up due to serious illnesses. Such expenses may be covered by long term care (LTC) insurance. However, the maximum age of taking a critical illness cover may not be fixed too high by many companies. Critical illness conditions may tend to change during the course of time. Therefore, older people may be more exposed to contracting a critical illness than younger ones. Additionally, the figures that show for older people’s critical illness rates may not be as reliable as for the young ones. So, critical illness evaluation may be much easily done when it comes to young people.
Furthermore, some insurance companies may provide critical illness cover to some people even to an older age of maturity. The benefit can be triggered if it is an acceleration of a life policy with the main policy being whole life or endowment. This can be useful as the insured sums may decrease according to the age and hence become a saving depending on the insurance policy. Many old people die from critical illness so that the elevated critical illness risk may be leveled by the death risk.
Additionally, we will now have a look at the waiting period in regards with critical illness cover. Certain early critical illness claims may have been refused due to non disclosure. A solution to this problem was also found as the waiting period was introduced. People have gradually agreed about the fact that the payment may only be made after the waiting period had been ended. In some cases, the waiting period may not apply. For example if the critical illness had occurred from an accident. The waiting period may not be shorter than three months. But it may vary according to certain diseases. For example, six months for cancer and multiple sclerosis and around two months for other critical illness conditions. However, marketing protocols may make the process of waiting period difficult to be put into effect.
Generally, having a critical illness cover may become very handy and useful. Nowadays, critical illness covers may automatically include protection for children. This might be of importance if your child suffers from an illness at an early age. Besides, critical illness cover may also permit you to secure a possible future for your family. Should you fall critically ill at a later time, critical illness insurance payout might cope with your loss of income. Hence your family may continue lead the lifestyle they’ve been used to.

My foreskin doesnt cover head of penis even when not erect. ders pain 4m rubing against pants etc.wd do i do?
...my foreskin got pulled bak for the first time very recently. Earlier it used to cover the head of the penis or the glans fully when not erect and even when erect it was long enough to not expose too much of the head. Now after it getting pulled back, the foreskin refuses to come back and cover the head of the penis even when it is not erect. This exposes the urethra and the front of the head rubs against the pants which causes quite a lot of pain. I no it is normal that now when it gets erect the foreskin retracts bak as it shud, which didnt happen earlier, but now it does not return to cover the head of the penis even when it is not erect and this leaves quite a bit of the glans exposed and this very sensitive part of the penis being exposed when not erect is problematic as it rubs against underwear etc and this hurts. This is wierd becaus it used 2 be so long to cover the head fully when not erect. I have not been circumsized and im 18.
Try to use lube on your glans(vagina lub or vegetable oil if you don't have vagina lube) put the lub on the glans and try to push back your foreskin on the glans.... you may try to squeeze the glans with your thumb and a finger while with the other hand you put back your foreskin back ... squeezing the gland will help you removing the blood and shrinking the size of the glans to put back the skin.... after achieving that you should do stretching exercise to prevent this from happening again....here is an example: http://pages.suddenlink.net/manual_methods/phimosis.html
if nothing work see a doctor... or if you have other question e-mail me...
good luck buddy
