Sport compacts, where they have been and where they are going
The sport compact industry has been around for some time now, starting back with cars like the Toyota Celica and the Acura Integra. Most of us never really noticed it or at least realized how big it was going to become.
Before not to long ago if you wanted to build a hot rod the question was are you a Chevy man, a Ford guy or a Mopar lover. But in this day and age, with gas prices at an all time high and unsurpassed technology, you have to ask yourself, "Import or domestic?" And today all the big manufacturers have at least one good choice for a performance build. Alot of those choices being compact cars!
Don't get me wrong there are still muscle cars available on the market, it seems now more then ever. With Chevy introducing the 2010 Camaro and Dodge with the all new Challenger, the muscle car industry is alive and kicking. Some of us are cubic inch fans, where all we care about is how much motor we can fit under the hood.
But at the same time with the Chevy Cobalt SS with the supercharged Ecotec which can easily be modified in to a 500hp race engine or the Dodge Neon SRT-4 we definitely have the choice. Unlike before if you wanted to build a sport compact your choices where very limited. It was pretty much an Acura Integra, Honda Civic or a Nissan 240sx. This is all because of the noise the sport compact industry has made, and the attention it has received from it.
With the sport compact industry growing the amount it has over the last 5 to 6 years it's obvious why the domestic car companies have jumped in on the action. Which brings us a new challenge, finding the performance parts we are looking for to build the sport compact of our choice. For example when trying to buy a header for a 2004 Chevy Cavalier, it was impossible to just walk in to my local hot rod store or car parts store and find it on the shelf. Ordering online was pretty much the only option. Of course every city is different and we can be sure there are stores out there to find the part you're looking for. Also I've personally noticed import performance parts are a little easier to find.
So as you can imagine the webstores that sell sport compact performance parts are popping up constantly. But a good mechanic isn't always the best website designer! So when you find a well designed store that's easy to navigate and consumer friendly with great customer service, it's something to take note of.

Chrysler Neon New Radio Dash Kit
In this article we will see how this car was manufactured, its features and about the radio dash kit in it. In the year 1925 Chrysler Corporation was launched. Chrysler neon car was introduced in the year 1994 by Chrysler Corporation. I t was also known as Dodge SX and Plymouth neon. Its production terminated in the year 2005. It has assembling plants in Mexico, USA and Illinois. It follows FF layout and PL platform. It follows in the range of compact cars. It replaced Dodge shadow and Dodge colt and was succeeded by Dodge caliber. It came in various configurations and versions starting from 1995 till 2005 but our focus in this article is restricted to only neon cars from 2000 till 2005 which were models of 2nd generation.
To improve acceleration ACR gears were used. However this caused lot of problems by reducing the mileage. Also more noise was generated so they went on with original gear system. The transmission was manual and 5 speed. Later this was also changed to automatic with four and three speed. The name change from neon to SX2 happened in the year 2003 in Canada. It was sold as a luxury car in Brazil and remained a powerful competitor to Escort (Ford) in Mexico. Doors which had full frames replaced frame less windows of 1st generation. It was claimed by the company that over 1000 modifications were done from the 1st version. The bigger size and different exteriors and interiors added to the weight. Its body style had 4 door and sedan type. But only 2 doors remained famous that time. As a result of this there was a drop in sales with this model. It was 4.3 meters in length and 1.7 meters in width.
The wheel base was 2.67 meter. In R/T model mechanical upgrades were made and this model made debut in the year 1998. Power windows were available as an option. The bumper covers of few colors were not painted rather molding in those colors were done. Dodge SRT is closely related to this model. Both 1st and 2nd generation did not fare well in various safety tests like crash tests and head rests. The number of accidents that were fatal was also reported to be high when compared with other small cars. The radio dash kit for this model is very advanced and comes in black color. This is suited for models of Chrysler from 2001 onwards. The kit includes panel, cage to mount fittings and screws, both aerial and harness adaptors and neon type panel. It can be readily installed and its fine texture and colour matches the look of car interiors. It is also suited for other Chrysler models from 1995 to 2005.The gas mileage are decent though not exceptional. The kits can be purchased online at web sites powernetshop.at. They are the industry standard for installation kits, often copied, never duplicated. Priced around 18 to 90 Euros it is also possible to bargain and get at a cheaper rate by comparing even in online purchases.

Will a donut from a late '90s Ford Taurus fit a Dodge Neon SRT-4? Please list source(s).?
I had a flat and then my donut gave out too. A guy I work with offered me the donut from his Ford Taurus so I could get to the tire shop without a tow but I don't know if they are compatible. The Neon SRT-4 is 5-lug, I'm not even sure about his Taurus but I assume it is 5-lug too. 10 points to most complete answer preferably with a reputable source and thanks in advance.
no those wont interchange on those two vehicles,it will fit other ford vehicles but not on the neon's,god luck.
