The 2010 Kodiak is a medium duty truck from the house of Chevrolet, which will be offered in both C5500 and C4500 regular cab models. Can a 700r4 transmission keep up with a 454 chevy engine?

I currently have a 350 sbc on a monte carlo. I upgraded the tranny to a 700r4. I'm planning to upgrade the engine to a 454 big block. I know its going to need a lot of mods from engine mounts, headers, and even the springs. But will the 700r4 project enough power??

I'm not so sure myself but you may want to contact a compny by the name of Proformance Unlimited. They are out of NJ. I had an engine rebuild done by them and they helped me out with everything from the tranny to the right engine for my car. Im in conneticut so I was able to visit their facilty.
