Nokia 8800 Carbon Arte
, a premium mobile phone engineered from carbon fiber, titanium, polished glass and stainless steel.

Keeping with the Nokia 8800 Arte range, the 8800 Carbon Arte has a minimalistic and seamless surfaces, slide mechanism and lightweight feel. Crafted from an ultra light and strong material, it reflects 3D patterns, a modern feel and unique tones, textures and sculpted shapes.

The Nokia 8800Carbon Arte offers the unique tap-for-time feature. Consumers can tap the steel surface below the display twice and a clock appears on the screen. Background images organically change during the day, giving a unique appearance to the display. The turn-to-mute silencing mechanism lets users silence incoming calls in a discrete manner by turning the phone over, screen-side down.

In addition to 3G capabilities, the 8800 Carbon Arte has a 3.2-megapixel auto-focus camera, high-quality audio, and a vivid OLED screen. Nokia's anti-fingerprint coating reduces smudges on metal and glass and unsightly outer seams are hidden by a unique all-in-one micro-USB connector.

The Nokia 8800 Gold Carbon Arte will be available in the 3rd quarter of 2008 with an estimated retail price of $1,600 USD (EUR 1,100). It comes with accessories such as a Bluetooth touch-sensitive volume control headset, a desk stand and a leather carrying case.

Meant to inspire exclusivity and refinement, the Nokia 8800 Carbon Arte version of the popular premium cell phone was designed using carbon fiber, titanium, polished glass and stainless steel. These add durability as well as a stylish finish, while the carbon fiber is a very light material with strong resistance, suggesting a high-end mobile handset in the lightest form.

It also sports three-dimensional patterns to add a plus of uniqueness, and the overall look of the Nokia 8800 Carbon Arte was inspired by architecture, sports cars and aerospace. The slider comes out this quarter with themed soundtracks and wallpapers at a price of EUR 1,100, bringing an exclusive range of accessories such as a Bluetooth touch-sensitive volume control headset, a stylish desk stand and a beautiful leather carrying case.

Besides the RAZR, few handsets have milked longevity like Nokia's 8800 slider -- first introduced in April 2005 (spied in March). Unlike RAZR, however, the 8800 somehow manages not to annoy... too much. The latest Carbon Arte model brings 3G, a 3.2 megapixel camera, 4GB of flash memory, and OLED display with anti-fingerprint coating. Fine, but it's the rocket-esque carbon fiber, titanium, and stainless steel materials that help push the price tag to €1,100 (that's about $1,600) before taxes and of course, carrier subsidies. Expected to brazenly appear in the smoking dens of Europe's finest gentlemens' clubs sometime in Q3.

Where can i buy aftermarket parts for a 1989 Volkswagen golf 1.8 5 speed?

i recently bought a 89' golf and i need help finding some aftermarket parts.

Things i need help to find:

Body kits
Wheels
Carbon fiber
performance engine parts
wings
exhaust systems.

Pretty much no where.

It's an 89 VW.

It's not a performance car. It's not a popular car. It's a refuge from the 80s.

About all you will find, is an aftermarket lip for your stock spoiler. Which hardly counts as a body kit, since most people don't notice that anyway.

Carbon fiber is basically out of the question, since again, a costly material like that is saved for the more popular applications, and this isn't it.

You could got through JSP, but if you really find yourself needing a $570 hood, for a slow, unattractive car, that's your waste of money.

As far as a wing....why are you putting a wing on a compact station wagon? Aerodynamically speaking, there's zero function in that idea. Unless you're going for cosmetics. Again, your waste of money, if you want to do that.

Ditch the car, and start with something better.
