Accuride Corporation Announced New Appointments

Accuride Corporation, a leading manufacturer and supplier of commercial vehicle components, recently announced that Steve Holt has been advanced as their new Senior Vice President for Strategy, Growth and Technology. The announcement was made in the light of the strategy developed by the company to further increase their profitability in the coming months.

Holt previously held the position of Vice President for Strategic Management is now being put in charge of the company’s strategy development. The company hopes to focus on the development of their present technologies and the development of new ones. John Murphy, the President and COO of Accuride, stated that: “In his new role, Steve will lead corporate strategy management and growth initiatives related to the development of new technologies with significant growth potential.”

Steve Holt has joined the company in 1997 and has 25 years of experience under his belt. His experience in the field will be his guiding light in directing the development of cutting edge global information technologies. The current technologies being used by the company will also be one of the concerns of Holt. These technologies will be for him to improve in his stay as the Senior Vice President for Strategy, Growth and Technology. He holds a Bachelor of Computer Science from Augusta University and a Masters in Management from Brescia University.

Aside from Holt’s appointment, the company also announced that an expert in the field has joined their ranks. Terry Neal, the new addition to the company, will hold the position of General Manager of AccuSolutions. AccuSolutions is a strategy formulated by Accuride to enhance their portfolio of solutions to further serve their long list of customers.

The strategy includes three services. The first of the three is the New Business Technology. Under this service, the company is aiming to “provide new technologies to the industry that leverage our competencies”, according to the company.

The second service included in the strategy is Sourcing Solutions. Under this, the company will focus on the design, engineering, and sourcing of products and components.

The third service is what Neal will first set his sight on. Development of Solution Centers is the third service under the new strategy. Under this, the company will “establish Accuride facilities near major OEM plants with the ability to receive sourcing solution products and components, perform light assembly, kitting, sequencing, and just-in-time delivery.”

Neal, just like Holt has been in the industry for over 25 years. He previously had focused on global aftermarket distribution, manufacturing and remanufacturing operations. Before he joined Accuride, Neal was the Division Manager for Operations Customer Support for Bendix LLC. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources degree from Ohio State University and a Master of Business Administration from Baldwin Wallace College.

Accuride President Murphy also said that: “The appointments announced today (March 9), along with the associated initiatives, are a demonstration of our strengthened focus on exploring new avenues through which we can create solutions for our customers and add value for our stakeholders.”

Accuride Corporation is one of the leading manufacturers and suppliers of commercial vehicle components. 2003 dodge ram 1500 4.7L V8 Magnum aftermarket cam question?

I have a 03" dodge ram 1500 4.7L v8 Magnum. I wanted to increase Performance in it so I put on flow masters and a K&N air intake kit. I still want more power. So, I was hoping someone could suggest a Cam for it. Link would be appreciated. Also, if you could explain the workings of a cam a bit or tell me how many horse power i might gain from a mild aftermarket cam i would also appreciate that.

wow, your the first person Ive ever seen , want to increase the power in one of those engines,, those things run like a scalded dog stock,, And there known to be torque monsters, I would suggest getting a Ecm Performance chip,, it cost less and you can adjust it for you specific needs, rather for off road or hauling,, It alot of trouble to change a cam period, Would be more cost effective to enhance the ecm,, But if your intent on changing the cam ,Id go with the Eddlebrock cam,,
