Are there any coolant drain plugs in the engine block of a 2004 chevy silverado 3500 (6.6L duramax diesel)?

Im asking because its almost time to change the coolant in my truck. every time i change coolant i also do a flush. Whenever i change coolant and flush anything i never seem to get more than 40% of the old coolant back so i want to know if it has drain plugs. Also why am i only getting that much?

Check in your owners manual or contact the dealer. There is one way, short of tearing your motor completely apart, you can get all the water out. Take your thermostat out and use an air compressor and blow the water out. You may have to disconnect you heater hoses and do the heater core separately
