Small Block Chevy misses at over 5K rpm?
Mellings long duration cam, edelbrock 750cfm carb. edelbrock performer intake,flat top pistons, distributar is HEI type but is a no name brand or cant find a name on it, it is not OEM because it is polished aluminum, hooker headers and 2 1/2" exhaust into flowmaster muffler, but get a popping at over 5000 rpm.
5000 rpm is about where the small blocks let loose your ignition may have a rev limiter built into it so you don't blow the motor you may be able to find it change it and blow the motor or you can try and shift sooner
