Anyone have a Volkswagen..I've got a problem with my beetle I just got...?

It's a used car & then man I bought it from went ahead & changed the light since it was low & now ever since he did that the radio don't turn on & the oil signal keeps beeping the next day I took it to get the oil & transmission changed so there shouldn't be anything wrong, my bf owns a VW jetta & says its prolly a loose fuse or something cuz VWs are real sensitive...So is the problem minor or major??

I would be worried. You say the light was low - what light and what was it doing. If it is an alternator (charging) light it is not uncommon for it to glow on and off when idling. If it is an oil pressure light then it generally means that something is seriously wrong with the engine.

After the light was changed did it stay off. If that was the case, then I think that your 'used car man' removed the fuse feeding that circuit hence the reason why your radiop is no longer working.

A light either works or it does not work. If it glows, it means that it is working and there is no need to change it. What should be investigated is why it is glowing ('low' as you put it). The light is there as a warning.

I think your problem could be major.
